You guys! I'm so excited to be partnering with Xochimili Sweets to bring you a Pan de Muerto Workshop. Dia de los muertos has become commercialized in the states, especially since the movie Coco came out. There are a lot of styled events being done using sugar skulls. and although they are beautiful, I want to speak and educate about the history of the Day of the Dead and its significance in the Mexican culture. This event is a hands-on workshop as well as a time of learning more about this beautiful holiday. So come ready to learn and bake!
We’ll learn how to :
-make two little pan de muerto loaves (which you’ll get to take home…or eat right out of the oven)
-learn how to make cafe de olla & chocolate caliente
-make a starter to make your own loaf at home
There are only 8 tickets available. So get yours today! (Click on picture below for tickets)
