PUZZLES ROUND 2: LAUCHED

I’ve just released 3 new puzzle options to add to your collection! Puzzles were a favorite last year, so I thought why not add some new ones to keep you busy.

You can enjoy a piece of Mexico in your home in a fun way, and maybe even get the whole family involved! Each box includes the story of each photo, so you can learn a little more about Mexican culture.

They are perfect gifts, and increase in difficulty as they increase in size. A great way to spend the quiet nights; just grab your favorite drink, a blanket, and spend some off-screen time putting together a puzzle.

New Puzzles:

8x10 puzzle with 100 pieces “Colores de la Tierra”

12x16.5 puzzle with 285 pieces “Lotería”

18x24 puzzle with 500 pieces “La Casa Rosita”

These three new puzzles pair so nicely with the original collection:

8x10 puzzle with 100 pieces “Colores de Oaxaca”

12x16.5 puzzle with 285 pieces “Las Dos Macetas”

18x24 puzzle with 500 pieces “Calle de Oro”

The Mexico Minis Collection

Sometimes you need to brighten your office space, or that little corner in your home.

These mini prints are the perfect addition to a gallery wall, a shelf, or even a workspace. The photos are taken in different places in Mexico so you can feel and even envision what Mexico is like through these little pictures of everyday life there.

Sticker Collection

Stickers of my Mexico prints are finally here! Do you remember having a collection of stickers? Or pencils? Or jelly rolls? Yeah collecting cool stuff was a thing! I had all of the above, and I loved looking through all of my favorite stickers when I added new ones to my box.

Now I get to make my own stickers and share them with all of YOU! I’ve already started sticking these everywhere; my water bottle, my phone, my iPad, my luggage, my journals, my kids. Everywhere.

I’ve picked a few favorite prints from each collection and turned them into stickers, so that you can carry a piece of Mexico with you where ever you go. We can all agree that positive change needs to happen in our society and I believe it all starts with meaningful conversations, and what better way to start those interactions than with art? Especially when it comes in the form of a sticker.

San Miguel Collection

The newly released San Miguel Collection is the beginning of many more Mexican cities that will be represented through images. After visiting San Miguel de Allende in 2017 for a workshop, Karina went back to capture more of the city that inspired her to start this endeavor.

In the future Karina will be planning to travel to different Mexican cities to try to capture more of the Mexican culture while educating others of Mexico's history and how that has inspired so many of the foods, decor, and customs they've grown to adapt and love.

Puebla Collection

Puebla is a Mexican city in central Mexico. I first traveled to Puebla with my father in the fall of 2018. It was supposed to be a short trip, but after our two days, I knew that it hadn’t been enough time. Puebla is visually stunning, and filled with so much rich history that helped us understand just a little bit more about our Aztec roots. I planned a 5 day trip in early 2019 to spend more time exploring and photographing Puebla. I’m excited to share this collection with you, and even more excited to announce, a planned excursion for people to join me as we travel to Puebla.

Oaxaca Collection

The beautiful state of Oaxaca is in southwestern Mexico. Due to the mountainous terrain of the state, it’s made it easier to preserve the culture, traditions, and even native languages of different people groups. I learned that there are actually sixteen different indigenous groups of people living in Oaxaca, some only knowing their native language. Zapotec and Mixtec are the two largest indigenous groups, so we learned some of their specific traditions especially as it pertained to designs in textiles.

I visited Oaxaca with my sister and my cousin over Day of the Dead weekend in 2019. The beautiful vibrant colors of the city were breathtaking. It was a special time to be in Mexico for a special holiday and to learn more about my roots, and the history of a new city. I have plans to return in the summer of 2020, during another time of celebration called the Guelaguetza Festival. I’ll add to the collection with a different perspective of the city, but with the same richness of the Mexican culture.

Hi, I'm Karina.

Photographer

I've been a photographer for 10 years, but I'm most passionate about being able to display photographs of Mexico in my home to connect my family and others to my culture. I travel to cities in Mexico to take pictures, then prepare them, ready to hang, so you can always have a piece of Mexico in your home.

Educator

I'm passionate about educating others about Mexico through art. Mexican culture is more than just Cinco de Mayo celebrations, margaritas, and piñatas. While we all love a good margarita, I want to share the beauty, vibrancy, and humanity that is Mexico.

Homeschool mom

Homeschooling my children isn't want I expected for my life, but having been doing it for 4 years now I can't imagine anything else.

I still have a lot of preconceived notions to work through as a type-A, public school raised mom, now homeschooling my kids, but I want this to be a platform to be honest about our journey and encourage others who are on the same path.
