Refresh Your Space

I never thought I would be in a place where I'd be giving advice on how to decorate the walls and spaces in your home. I went to school for music, (yep, I used to be a musician) but as seasons in life change, my passion for storytelling, especially sharing my cultural story visually, has led me here.

Especially during this time, I want you to start to think about the spaces that bring you the most joy and peace.

Since we are spending more time in our homes, it's important to have a space or spaces that invoke those feelings of security, not just for us, but for our whole family. I didn’t always know where to start when it came to redecorating or putting up new shelves or art on the wall. But that’s why I put together something simple that will get you to start thinking about creating an intentionally joyful, peaceful space in your home.

Having pieces from the Mexican culture in our home are so important for me, so that my children can feel connected to the space they're in.

I'm so grateful you've chosen to follow along on my journey.

And a special shout out to my friend, and interior stylist, Mylene Raspado who has helped with some of the styled photos you'll see, as well as being willing to video call with me when I was anxious about hanging shelves in my home for the first time.
