Calle de oro
Dia de los Muertos is a meaningful holiday that honors family members and our ancestors that have passed before us. It’s a time of remembrance and celebration of who they were and the life they lived. This holiday is celebrated all over the country but Oaxaca is a place that has amazing festivals, and everyone is celebrating for weeks.
The whole city is decorated along the streets and in front of every business. Parades are happening every evening, and the people come together to celebrate, mourn, remember, and unite their legacies.
