El Barrio Alto is a is an old indigenous neighborhood in Puebla. You can see where it gets its name “alto” with the visible street slope. This street actually has the highest volume of traffic, and the busiest intersection. In the early morning, there are many street vendors that set up their post selling champurrado, tamales, sandwiches, and other foods to people walking to work or driving by.
