You can see a strong influence of Spanish architecture in Puebla. It’s not a surprise since the Europeans had a strong influence in Mexico. Puebla is a UNESCO city which stands for: United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. Because of this, Puebla and other UNESCO cities need to uphold cultural and architectural integrity.
While there are regulations that need to be kept, I feel like walls and buildings that are a bit more rustic like this one add to the beauty and historical feel of the city.
