Arbol del agua
Arbol del agua
While people might think of Mexico as an exotic place to escape for a relaxing beach getaway, it is diverse in its terrain. Much of Mexico is mountainous, like the state of Oaxaca. Hierva del Agua, is a site with rough terrain, mountains, waterfalls, forests, desert vegetation, and natural water springs.
This photo was taken on the edge of a cliff where there are two large pools that are suitable for swimming, along with many smaller natural pools. As the water from these pools runs down the edge of the cliff, it forms large stalactites as it leaves minerals behind.
